Seven striped kasaya - A kasaya is a stole monks wear, usually over the shoulder and then draped around the body and bound with a cord. The seven striped or seven paneled kasaya is a more formal one than the more typically seen 5-paneled kasaya and is largely reserved for funeral ceremonies or highly ranking monks depending on the sect. Can I ask you: how much text of this ranobe still not translated yet?

About 332 pages as of today (just finished uploading a book 3, chapter 15, part 1-5). That's about half of the second book left, currently on page 396 of the second book.

I don't think this qualifies as a light novel. Even in the version broken up into 5 books it's not necessarily meant to be read in the style of a light novel, being leafed through. Light novels tend to be shorter, more dialogue and plot action driven, with fairly little focus on introspection, prose or more traditional elements of pure literature.

This isn't a criticism of light novels or anything, in fact I tend to prefer them because they're character driven more often than not. Just a note on the classification.

ok, so now I am reading the chinese version of the book.
There are 5 chapters of this volume. And then the last volume has 9 more chapters. And thats it.
So around 25%? of the book is yet to be translated by sinnesspiel.
I guess he has been busy with personal life? I could offer to translate the rest of this book some time in 2021...but we will see.
