I don't have any specific questions about culture notes or anything! I was thinking of a suggestion though, I don't know if it'll turn out to be a good idea but especially with long running chapters you could include a short summary of what the chapter covers. Just cause sometimes I forget what exactly was in a specific chapter and they sometimes merge together in my mind, what with all of the subchapters and stuff.
