This is a post for testing a bit of a game system. Since you're here, let me give you some history!

A college buddy and I once tried to make up a game based on the Anime/Manga series, Death Note. It had a Kira, an L, an optional Misa and a game master Ryuk. Without actually having to create a hypothetical set of murder mysteries to solve (Umineko didn't come until later, and it's inspired a board game rather than a party game) we never did figure out how anyone would even start suspecting a particular player of being Kira to kick off any of the mechanics.

And we still don't! Luckily, people love wolf-sheep scenarios and will invent wolves if needed be! It turns out there's a very similar party game called Mafia or Werewolf, too.

Not so luckily, we had no friends to play it with. Or I had no friends and his friends couldn't stand me. I forget, conveniently. But now I have the internet, and if there's one place where sentiments don't matter for a good time, it's the internet!

So I'd like to test drive this game a bit to fine-tune it before introducing it to a real game. Play with as many accounts/characters as you like, play as yourself, play as OCs, I don't care! Make a new post here and try to field out your own set of rule while you're being the Ryuk/GM if you like.

Here's how it's done!

A gangster crew has become aware of a Mole amongst them after finding a wire tap. They're going to find the dirty rotten Donnie Brasco.

One character will be the Game Master.
One character will be PMed and informed that they are The Mole.
One character will be PMed and informed that they are The Godfather.
If the group is big enough (5+ characters) one character may or may not be PMed and informed that they are the Rat.

All other players are gangsters.

A round will happen with each character allowed to make two statements and up to ten counter statements (replies to another's statement/interjections/etc.). The gangsters will vote each round who they out. If there's not a majority vote (%50+, rounded down) then nobody's out and another round takes place. Between each round, The Mole can have someone arrested by his police backup and removed from the game. The Godfather has the clout to have a trusted, elite group outside of his own run an investigation on any one person: a PM to the Game Master will determine the person and will get a response declaring them The Mole or Not The Mole. Anyone can claim they are the God Father and came to that conclusion, but with the obvious risk of being arrested the next round. Investigations can not determine the Rat, though the Rat can choose to take the fall or not if investigated and PRETEND to be The Mole. If The Rat decides to pretend to be The Mole they will go into protective custody, be removed safely from the game, and only win points if The Mole wins.

The Mole wins if he arrests the God Father and gets a set number of points.
The Godfather wins set points and gets points based on how many of his crew are still in the game when The Mole is found, and will get a bonus point if he identifies the Rat.
The Rat wins the same prize as the regular gangsters if not identified and the gangsters win. The Rat wins a set number of points if identified as the Rat but The Mole wins. The rat loses if dead, or if identified as the mole when the gangsters win.
The gangsters win one point for all gangsters alive at the end of the game, with the living ones gaining an extra point.

Set points are based on how many are playing. The points mean nothing in this setting but when implemented into a greater game, there will be meaning to the points. For now imagine them like dollars. Dollars I'm not giving you.

Feel free to make your own threads, switch up rules, for example, say "fifteen minutes of IRL time is a round, characters talk as much as they want' or anything unique or fun you can think of!

Per request, here is an example of the general flow of things, with 4 players (and a GM)

GM: I have PMed characters with their roles. This is the order opening statements can be made in: Character 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4. Then the round will end for voting someone out.

Character 1: I think character 2 did it.
-Character 2: What, fuck you.
-Character 3: Yeah, fuck you, maybe it's you.
--Character 1: Lick my scrotum.
---Character 4: God damn it are you two going to be all romantic in this game, too?
----Character 1: We don't have enough free comments to do much of a porn thread. Unless you're character 2.
------Character 2: Seriously, man, fuck you. I am so blaming you next.

Character 2: It's character 1. Fuck them.
-Character 1: You're just mad I mocked your bedroom longevity.

Character 3: Character 2 doesn't have the stamina to be a Mole.
-Character 1: Agreed. Look how short even his first statement thread is.
--Character 4: Can't one game be ship free? One little memetic murder game?
---Character 3: How long can their shipping last? Character 2 has no stamina.
----Character 1: It's not like I WANT to be paired with 2. Tsuntsun.
-----Character 4: Oh for the love of... I'm getting Moeblobs and stupid stereotypes here, too? I hate this game.
------Character 1: Don't you think you should try to be more friendly so people don't vote you dead?
--------Character 4: If I had the power to kill you, none of you would even be alive now. I hate you all.
---------Character 1: Is that a yandere?
----------Character 3: No, character 4 has no dere.
------------Character 1: Then it's not very exciting if they're the killer. I want a yandere killer.

Character 4: I'm saying it's character 3 just to get us off that pairing raunchy sex talk.

Character 1: Character 2 could be a yandere...
-Character 3: I don't see it.
--Character 1: It's a short dere. Like his stamina.
---Character 2: Seriously, fuck you.
----Character 1: See? Blew his load in that last thread.

Character 2: I think it's character 1 and now that they're out of their ten statements, we can trash talk them freely. Bahahaha!
(Some comments here.)

Character 3: I like 1 and 2, they're funny, let's keep them.
-Character 4: Great, make us the likely targets.
(More comments.)

Character 4: Okay, so since it might be down to me and 4, I am willing to be the kuudere if being moe saves my ass. Don't vote off the kuudere. We're the type that LIVE in horror movies.

GM: Okay, it's voting time.

Character 1: I vote off Character 2.
Character 2: I vote off Character 1.
Character 3: I vote off character 2.
Character 4: I vote off character 3.

GM: Character 2 has been killed off for being suspected of betraying the mob.

(GM PMs character 1: Who would you like to have removed from the game, Mr. Mole?
Character 1: Character 4. I think they're the God Father.)

--(Character 4 is NOT the God Father.)

(GM PMs character 3: Who would you like to investigate?
Character 3: I think Character 1 is the mole.
GM: Yup, they are.)

(Character 3 in the next round should try to turn character 4 against 1 so they can vote him off. Round like the above occurs, without character 2.)

--(Character 4 IS the God Father.)
GM: The Godfather, character 4, has been killed. The Mole side wins. Only Character 1 gets any points.
