I wouldn't sell yourself short on the translation front. Doujinshi are one of the hardest things to translate. You've got to fit it in the bubble, get the speech style right, they're more prone than any other writer to put obscure and perhaps even entirely personal in-jokes, and half the time you're not decoding kanji, it's outright cacography.

I'm not too picky about ratio or video quality; I'm a failure as an Otaku. I suspect a lot of other people are though. I've been working with the 4GB one since it's what I have, but the only things that would take more than a few clicks to adjust would be the on-screen text translations and one or two delayed lines I didn't do as Alphasubs for whatever stupid reason. As for credits, I hate to hardsub it and not credit the video at all. If you do want to hardsub it, lemme know who to credit or throw in your own credit line. My only problem with not doing it myself is not knowing when I may update them. Urai's version will end up getting a 1.10 since I found some karaoke errors and some amusing little blips. While I appreciate the flattery on the translation quality, sadly I'm all too fallible.

I think most DWers are RPers. RPers tend to care about character voice for obvious reasons. I suspect the only people who would comment on something like that with anything other than "touch grass" would be roleplayers (and most RPers would probably tell me that too). Just about everyone I know who I talk DN with I know through RP.
