This makes me feel so giddy. I'm also anticipating Natsuno's arc and all the thrill that comes with it. Will it have many similarities with the anime/manga or not, or will there be something different? I'm really looking forward to it.
The biggest irony is yes, Natsuno will someday make it out of the village, but as a corpse.
As part of my Japanese learning I'm now reading Shiki manga raw and comparing it to its scanlated version. (most of it is just rough grasping of the text, but I'd say it's a progress!) My vocab has expanded, I'm so happy. Sometimes I have difficulties reading the kana though. And I also noticed that the dialogues are mostly just like in the anime, which is good, meaning I could watch the anime to practice on listening. It's a win-win. (to accompany it, I'm also reading some other books on learning Japanese)
