Then Hideko doesn't tell the children at all. And when young Takami Jr (she was pregnant when he died and named him after his late father) grows up, he sets out on a quest to find out just who his father really was. To do so, he must follow in his footsteps and become a cop. But he soon finds out that right and wrong aren't black and white, and if forbidden love is wrong, does he really want to be right?

Also Ono could write a Ghost Hunt with Shiki characters. On the way home from school one day, Shimizu Megumi stops by to investigate an abandoned school building. Soon, she finds herself solving mysteries of the supernatural with the cold and mysterious psychic detective Natsuno; a monk by the name of Seishin; a miko, Yano Kanami; and the young foreigner Tatsumi (he lives in a Western house, and as everyone knows, Western architecture slowly turns you Western). She becomes Natsuno's assistant after accidentally breaking his old assistant Masao's leg.
