maaaannnnn I agree with everything you said. As much as I love BL, I don't want Shiki to be reduced to 'just' gay/BL fiction. I want Shiki to be acknowledged as an awesome masterpiece it is, for being what it actually is. Gay Seishin or no gay Seishin. So if Ono wanted to play subtle, then let's play subtle. I'll still be happy with what she gave me.

Maybe though, maybe... About what I mentioned, maybe the villagers will still talk, but in a very very subtle way. Just like how it's usually been for them. Something along 'they look weird' line.
