I assume the rumor Ikebe's wondering about pertains to the scar and his suicide attempt. Though they do casually accuse him of kidnapping and raping a high school girl essentially for being "old" (and Tatsumi and Ikebe in the same breath for being young), and we know there are rumors of him covering for a hit and run, etc. so rumors abounds for the poor guy.
