Aaaaand this is the nasty side of the village. I like how before they were all about how the village is one big family and peaceful and an awesome place to live, but little by little we get to see the little interactions that establish all the villagers as less than perfect individuals, this is another reason why I love how the book focuses on a wide range of characters that help establish the setting the way the anime never did. It's shocking but realistic how disrespectful the characters are, especially to those they're outwardly nice to like Seishin. Still, it's also absolutely hilarious. He's climbing da mountains, he's snatching yo villagers up. Hide yo kids hide yo wife~
Shit's gettin' real
